Training - Competition
We have been very successful in the past in both tournament Kata and Kumite. Many of our members over the years have successfully competed in the Queensland Karate team, competing at both a state and national level.
The West Moreton Academy of Martial Arts is a member of the Queensland Karate Association (QKA), which is the Queensland branch of the Australian Karate Federation (AKF), which is the Australian branch of the World Karate Federation (WKF). We compete in competitions that are sanctioned by these bodies, and therefore abide by the rules of these bodies, which are all governed by the rules of the WKF.
